November 17, 2005 - Columbia,
MD - Atlantic Industrial, Inc., the parent
company of Atlantic Scaffolding and Atlantic Plant
Services announces the appointment of Samuel Morasca,
Jr. as a member of the Board of Directors.
Atlantic Scaffolding was recently contracted by CB&I
to provide a jig stand at a major Gulf Coast refinery.
The scaffolding was being used on an FCCU project,
supporting the structure, as well as allowing for
the human access needed to install the cyclones.
November 3, 2005 - JOLIET,
IL - Insulco, an Atlantic Plant Services
company, received three Zero Injury Safety Awards
from the National Maintenance Agreement Policy
Committee, Inc. (NMAPC) for 2005. Two of the
awards were given for work at CITGO Petroleum
Corporation in Lemont, IL, and the third for
work at Exxon Mobil in Joliet, IL.
October 26, 2005 -- JOLIET,
IL - Atlantic Plant Services, Inc.,
an Atlantic Industrial company, recently closed
on the acquisition of Insulco, Inc., of Joliet,
and subsidiaries, announces Darryl Schimeck,
president of Atlantic Plant Services.
Williams Refining, LLC has successfully
implemented a major revamp to increase the capacity
and yield performance of its fluid catalytic cracking
(FCC) unit located in Memphis, Tennessee. The entire
project was accomplished in less than one calendar
year, from start of engineering to completion of
the turnaround. Project management, procurement,
engineering and construction was provided by International
Alliance Group (IAG) of Houston, Texas as general
contractor. The FCC revamp design utilized the
latest technology from UOP LLC. The success of
this project was a direct result of the effective
team approach between Williams, IAG and UOP.
